Ample time to visit the Christmas markets located at the foot of the Hohensalzburg fortress and around the venerable Cathedral of Salzburg. An extensive program of events such as choral singing in front of the cathedral, "Turmblasen" (wind instruments) on Residenz Square, and nativity exhibits in the Residenz courtyard await you. In the morning visit of the medieval town of Rattenberg famous for its engraved glassware including a tour of the glass manufacturers. Lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a tour to Pertisau at the Lake Achensee followed by a horse sleigh ride through a picturesque winter countryside. Stop for mulled wine and cookies at a mounatin hut. Dinner and overnight in the area of Innsbruck.

Today we visit the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck! Our guided walking tour includes the famous Golden Roof, the Imperial Palace - which is along with Schönbrunn Palace one of Austria’s most important historical buildings – and the Hofkirche (Court Church), which houses the tomb of the Emperor Maximilian I., the most important historical monument in Tyrol. Remainder of the day is free to enjoy the city and its coffee houses at your own. In the late afternoon return to hotel for a Christmas Gala dinner.

Scenic coach tour via the famous holiday resorts Seefeld and Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Oberammergau. Famous for its woodcarvings and Passion play performed by the inhabitants of the village every ten years. Traditional dinner at the hotel.
