Peneda-Gerês National Park
The Peneda-Gerês National Park is located in the north of the country, near the Spanish border. It shelters landscapes where forests of oaks and conifers, lakes, waterfalls, granite rocks or “espigueiros”, traditional granaries mounted on stilts, coexist.
In the north of Portugal, terraced vineyards and quintas make up the landscape of the Douro Valley. When you visit Portugal from north to south, you will go on a cruise on the Douro to discover all its tourist attractions.
