France : Must See

Known as the Hexagon because of the shape of its territory, France concentrates in just 640,000 km² an incredible diversity of landscapes as well as an exceptional historical, cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage. Mountains, plains, creeks, forests, picturesque villages, multicultural cities, gorges, idyllic bays and paradise islands ... From north to south and from east to west, no landscape is alike.

Strasbourg

Strasbourg, which is characterized by a mix of German and French culture, is not only known for its outstanding historical architecture, but also for the numerous EU institutions such as the European Parliament. The Strasbourg Cathedral is particularly worth seeing. After 332 steps of the Romanesque-Gothic cathedral you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over the old town.


Colmar

The most famous corner of Colmar is "Petite Venise" - "Little Venice". Here in "Petite Venise" countless colorful houses are lined up along the small river Lauch and ensure the image of a fairytale town. Worth a visit is the Pfisterhaus from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, which a wealthy milliner had built in 1537. It shows biblical and secular scenes. It is named after the family that lived in the house between 1841 and 1892


Rouen

The "city of 100 church towers" takes you on a journey through medieval streets. On the banks of the Seine, things are modern, you can stroll along the quays and discover Norman gastronomy. The port festival Armada of Rouen is also very eventful. It has been attracting numerous visitors to the capital of Normandy every 5 years for the past 30 years
